THE SHIPYARD

Located at the Port of Tacoma on Puget Sound, the shipyard dates to WWII for the production of aircraft carriers by Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Today,  the shipyard offers a plethora of workboat amenities and a wide range of ship services.

With a spacious, wide-berth haulout ramp, Motive Power Marine offers complete refit and repair of barges up to 250'; SAFEBOATS International builds world-class, high power, long-range patrol vessels onsite; and Silverback Marine builds commercial aluminum workboats from 20-75'.
