ALUMINUM BOAT PRICING & LEAD TIMES

WHAT DOES A CUSTOM ALUMINUM BOAT COST?

The costs of a welded aluminum boat vary widely depending on hull shape, configuration, layout, and other features. However, to help you establish a ballpark budget, a rule of thumb for a wheelhouse-style boat or landing craft, propulsion-ready (self bailing deck, wheelhouse, windows, doors, fuel, steering, & electrical),  is approximately $6,500 per boat foot. So for example, a 34' landing craft would cost around $221,000.  Outboard motors range from $100-$350 per horsepower depending on brand and market availability.

Open boats, such as tiller & center console boats, range from $2,500-$4,000 per foot after electrical & fuel systems. As an example, a 21' Grizzly with push knees & center console would typically cost around $55,000 ready for motor. Aluminum & materials pricing fluctuate daily, especially in current economic conditions, so please contact us for a current estimate.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BUILD MY CUSTOM BOAT?

In current market conditions, lead times are typically 12-18 months, again subject to vessel size, complexity, and supply chain conditions.  CONTACT US for an up to date estimate based on your vessel size & design. Through the course of a build, costs and lead times can vary widely subject to vendors, parts & material supply, and electronics availability.
